Design + Functionality

Kitchen design encompasses the art of harmonizing aesthetics and functionality to create a space that is both visually appealing and highly practical. It involves carefully considering elements such as layout, color scheme, materials, and appliances to achieve a cohesive and efficient cooking environment. Design choices can range from sleek and minimalist to warm and traditional, with an emphasis on optimizing workflow and storage capacity. Attention is given to selecting durable and easy-to-clean surfaces, such as countertops and flooring, while lighting fixtures are strategically placed to enhance both ambiance and task illumination. Well-designed kitchens reflect the unique personality and lifestyle of their owners, transforming them into inviting and inspiring spaces that inspire culinary creativity and foster a sense of comfort and community.

Our Cabinets

Our new kitchen cabinets are 100% custom and feature the latest technology in hardware including soft close drawer slides and hinges.  We offer many types  of hardwood species as well as high-end finishes and custom paint matches.

We believe that the best kitchen design is one that you love and that best suits

your needs and available space.  Our construction and renovation team also makes it possible to offer creative solutions for reimagining your current space including moving walls and adding beams in place of load-bearing walls.  Our team is flexible which means we can assist you in whatever you are looking for, whether you would like just the cabinets or if you would prefer an entire kitchen renovation without the extra stress of managing the various trades that can be involved in a kitchen project.

Insights

The primary design element of kitchens is the layout or floor plan. The layout determines the arrangement and positioning of key elements within the kitchen space, such as countertops, appliances, and storage areas. Common kitchen layouts include the U-shaped, L-shaped, galley, and island designs. The layout should be designed in a way that optimizes workflow and functionality, allowing for efficient movement and easy access to essential areas while considering factors such as space constraints and user preferences. A well-designed layout promotes convenience, accessibility, and a smooth cooking experience in the kitchen.
